CEC of RK to Conduct Additional Verification Following Candidate’s Complaint to Mazhilis

About the complaint of the candidate for deputies of Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In accordance with subparagraph 1) and 5) of Article 12, Article 16-1, paragraph 10 of Article 20 and Article 89 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan The Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan DECIDES:
1. The Department of State Revenue of Astana, on the basis of the information provided by Batyr Aliyev to check the reliability of the information on assets and liabilities, declared by the candidate or his wife, and on the basis of the results of the check send the appropriate information to the district election commission in single-mandate territorial election district No.1.
2. To re-consider the issue of annulment of decision No.71 of February 8, 2023 "On registration of a candidate to deputies of Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan in single-mandate electoral district No.1, submitted based on the results of additional verification of information about assets and liabilities, declared by a candidate and (or) his wife, and adopt the decision No. 71 of February 8, 2023 "On registration of a candidate to deputies of Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan in single-mandate electoral district No.1, Aliyev Batyr Aliyevich.
3. This resolution is to be sent to the Department of Public Revenues of Astana city and the district territorial election commission for single-mandate constituency No. 1.
4. To publish this resolution on the internet resource of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
