Almaty Hosted a Roundtable on the Participation of Youth and Women in the Electoral Process

The expert meeting was held at the Center for Political Studies of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies.
Political scientists and public figures shared their professional judgments about new trends in the electoral campaign of March 2023. In particular, emphasis was made on the fact that at the coming parliamentary elections for the first time the youth, women, and people with disabilities will have a quota in party lists. Their number must be no less than thirty percent of all candidates.
- Now the election campaign is in full swing. Women and young people are very active in this process. This indicates the development of our society, the interest of different segments of the population to participate in the life of the country," said the Director of the Center for Political Research of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Sciences and Religions Studies, Committee of Science, Ministry of Science and Higher Education RK, candidate of philosophical sciences Aidar Amrebayev.
