14 Foreign Election Observers Accredited by CEC

The Central Election Commission continues accrediting observers for the upcoming election of Mazhilis deputies in Kazakhstan on March 19. The Commission submitted nominations of another 14 people from five countries, BaigeNews.kz reports.
Secretary of the CEC Mukhtar Yerman reported at the meeting. He said that to date 97 observers from 11 foreign countries and three international organizations have been accredited.
"Today 14 observers from 5 foreign countries were nominated for accreditation: two candidates from the United Kingdom, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the People's Republic of China each, and three candidates from the Slovak Republic and the Republic of Estonia each. The CEC adopted a resolution on the accreditation of the nominees," said Yerman.
